The occupational objective of the Health Unit Clerk program is to prepare the student to gain employment in the settings such as the following: hospitals, clinics, insurance companies, public health care agencies, long-term care facilities where they will perform non-clinical tasks usually under the supervision of nursing staff and provide the link between patients, physicians, nursing staff and other departments. Office Administration graduates are equipped with the fundamental skills and knowledge required to work in a modern office environment. Your hands-on training will cover computer hardware skills and knowledge, computer software skills focusing on the MS Office suite, organizational and communication skills, basic bookkeeping and computerized accounting knowledge, and employability skills.

The Practical Nurse Access Program is designed to prepare graduates to meet or exceed the Standards of Practice and Competencies for Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) in British Columbia and the Code of Ethics, as set out by the College of Licensed Practical Nurses of British Columbia (CLPNBC).
